This piece is one of a series of 3 sculptures created as part of the process of making The Return, a large scale porcelain sculpture depicting the Great Goddess emerging from a grove of birch trees.
Wheel thrown and hand built components using slab and coil construction. Sculpted face , carved, textured and lace draping techniques. Layered oxides and coloured slips, metallic, lava and crawling glazes
